Capturing Candid Moments: Our Mission to Connect with Pet Owners
Recently, we've been stepping out with our cameras, venturing into public spaces to capture candid moments. When we spot people walking their pets, we approach them with a friendly smile and ask if we can take a photo of them with their furry friends—completely free of charge. So far, not a single person has turned us down!
Since this is often in a park or a bustling downtown area, we quickly find a nearby picturesque spot and interact with our subjects to capture their pet’s personality alongside their own. Before we part ways, we hand them our business card so they know where to expect their cherished images.
We've even updated our website with a dedicated contact form. This allows our new friends to briefly describe their encounter with us, making it easier for us to identify them so we can send their photos.
Why do we do this? Simply put, we adore animals! We deeply appreciate the special bond between people and their pets—so much so that our business is named after one of our beloved companions. (see pic below of Grady)
This approach not only allows us to meet wonderful new people but also offers a dynamic networking opportunity. Our spontaneous clients get to interact with a professional photographer and receive what we hope will become a treasured memory. As they visit our website to contact us to retrieve their photos, they have the option to opt out of email marketing. They can also let us know if they're comfortable with us sharing their picture on social media, anonymously of course.
We’re excited to make this a regular part of our routine, giving back to our community in our own unique "Grady" way. So, next time you're out and about in Central Florida with your pet, don’t be surprised if you hear, "Excuse me, what a cute dog! Can we take a picture of the two of you?"
Feel free to share your thoughts or ask any questions about our photography mission! 📸
